Taking its name from life itself, Villa Vida is a contemporary-styled holiday haven, located in Bali’s most hip and happening neighbourhood, a mere one-minute-walk to the beach.

Villa Vida presents a two-storey-high glass fronted building.  On the ground floor is an indoor lounge with glass doors that slide wide open to seamlessly meet the pool deck, and to one side is an outdoor living & dining area with a dining table for eight backed by a koi pond and the soothing burble of waterspouts. Three, single-storey, guestrooms rest beside the dazzling 15-metre swimming pool, which is bordered by a flourishing garden. The exquisitely styled living room is worthy of a magazine cover, comfortably furnished and decorated with an eclectic mix of artwork and sculptures, ensuring that there will always be something to catch your eye.

You may have to draw lots over who gets the very large master bedroom, which is perfectly positioned to view the pool from its generous balcony. However, if you happen to pull a shorter straw, you won’t be disappointed because you can roll straight into the pool from your exceptionally comfortable, dream-easy bed. The master bedroom is positioned on the upper floor and has a king-size bed, and an ensuite bathroom fitted with a double rainshower. 

Floor-to-ceiling glass doors open onto a full length balcony offering lovely garden views through the flowering frangipani trees, while a wrought iron spiral staircase leads to the rooftop, where you can glimpse views of the Indian Ocean to the west, and (on a clear day) the mountains to the north. All of the bedrooms are fully air-conditioned and each is furnished with a king-size bed with a King Koil pillow top mattress. Three of the beds can be configured as twins, allowing flexibility for mixed groups. Each bedroom is equipped with a TV, and each connects fluidly to its ensuite bathroom, located behind a half-partition wall and fitted with a walk-in rainshower and twin wash basins fashioned in grey terrazzo.
